Bathroom renovations
in Toronto & the GTA

A bathroom is the room most likely to fail when it is built fast. Water gets behind the tile, the framing rots, and the repair costs more than the original job. The fix is doing the waterproofing right, before any tile goes on. That is where ELG starts on every bathroom.

From a small ensuite to a full main bath, we handle the plumbing, tile, ventilation, vanities, and fixtures under one contract. You get an itemized fixed-price quote before anything starts, one project manager from the first walk-through to the last, and in-house crews who work across Toronto and the GTA.

Process

From first call
to finished bathroom.

  1. 01

    Walk-through

We measure the room and look at where the plumbing actually runs, so you know on site what can move and what cannot before anyone quotes a number.

  2. 02

    Quote

Itemized line by line after the walk-through: tile, fixtures, trades and finishing priced separately. No catch-all lines that get billed up later.

  3. 03

    Waterproofing

A proper membrane goes on the floor and shower walls before any tile. That membrane is the part that keeps water out of the framing below, and it is the step that decides whether the room lasts.

  4. 04

    Build

A powder room or straightforward bathroom usually runs 2 to 3 weeks on site. A full gut with moved plumbing and custom tile takes longer, and you get a real schedule with the quote.

Questions

Bathroom renovation questions.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

A small powder room or straightforward bathroom usually runs 2 to 3 weeks on site. A full gut with moved plumbing and custom tile takes longer. You get a real schedule with the quote, not a guess.

How do you stop the bathroom from leaking later?

We install a proper waterproofing membrane on the floor and shower walls before any tile goes on. That membrane is the part that keeps water out of the framing below. Skip it and the leak shows up a year later.

Can you move the toilet, shower, or plumbing?

Yes. Relocating the toilet, shower, or vanity is normal work for our licensed plumbers. We rough in the new lines, then build the finishes around them. A curbless or accessible shower is handled the same way.

Do I need a permit for a bathroom renovation?

If you are moving plumbing or electrical, yes. We pull the permits and handle inspections so you are not standing in line at the city. A straight fixture and tile swap in the same layout usually does not need one.

What does a bathroom renovation cost?

Every bathroom is quoted line by line after a walk-through, so the number reflects your actual layout, tile, and fixtures. No catch-all lines that get billed up later. Send a competing quote and we will show you what it leaves out.
