Concrete and
asphalt paving.
Driveways, walkways, steps, and pads in asphalt or concrete. The part most crews skip is the part that matters here: grading the surface so water runs away from the house, and building the base for freeze-thaw so the job does not crack or heave the first hard winter.
You get an itemized fixed-price quote before anything starts, one project manager from the first walk-through to the last, and in-house crews who do this work every week across Toronto and the GTA.
What the job includes

Concrete and paving questions.
Concrete or asphalt: which should I use?
Asphalt costs less up front, goes down fast, and is easy to patch, but it needs sealing every few years and lasts around 15 to 20 years. Concrete costs more and takes longer to cure, holds up for 30 years or more, and gives you more options for colour and finish. We walk the site, tell you which one fits your use and budget, and quote both if you want to compare.
How soon can I drive or walk on it?
Fresh asphalt takes the foot traffic the same day and vehicles after two to three days once it has cooled and set. Concrete you can walk on after about 24 hours, but keep vehicles off for seven days while it cures. We mark the dates on your schedule so there is no guessing.
When is the best time of year to pour or pave?
Spring through fall is the window. Both concrete and asphalt need above-freezing temperatures to cure and set properly, so we do not pour or pave in deep cold. Book early in the season and you get a better spot on the schedule.
How do you handle drainage and grading?
Before anything goes down we set the slope so water runs away from the house and off the surface, not toward your foundation or into a low spot that freezes. Bad grading is what cracks and heaves a driveway in our winters, so we get the base and the pitch right first.
What does a driveway or walkway cost?
Every job is quoted line by line after a walk-through, so the number reflects your actual size, material, base work, and drainage. No catch-all lines that get billed up later. Send a competing quote and we will show you what it leaves out.
