Interior
renovations.
Interior work touches the whole house. Opening up a floor plan, taking out a wall and dropping in a beam, new flooring, drywall and plaster, trim and finish carpentry, doors, millwork, and paint. ELG runs every trade under one contract, so the framing, the structure, and the finishing all land in the right order.
You get an itemized fixed-price quote before anything starts, one project manager from the first walk-through to the last, and in-house crews who do this work every week across Toronto and the GTA.

Interior renovation questions.
Can you open up a wall to connect two rooms?
Yes. We open walls to join a kitchen and living room or widen a hallway all the time. If the wall is load-bearing, we install a beam sized by the structural drawings and carry the load properly. We confirm whether it is load-bearing before any demolition starts.
Can I stay in the home during the work?
Usually yes for a single room or a section of the house. We seal off the work area, run dust control, and clean the site at the end of each day. For a full gut where every room is open at once, most clients stay elsewhere until the dust work is done.
Do you do one room or the whole house?
Both. One room, one floor, or a full interior gut. The same project manager runs it either way, and the quote is itemized so you see the cost of each part of the scope.
How long does an interior renovation take?
A single room runs a couple of weeks. A full-floor or whole-home interior runs longer and depends on how much structural work, flooring, and finishing is involved. You get a real schedule with the quote, not a guess.
What does an interior renovation cost?
Every project is quoted line by line after a walk-through, so the number reflects your actual rooms, materials, and scope. No catch-all lines that get billed up later. Send a competing quote and we will show you what it leaves out.
