Kitchen renovations
in Toronto & the GTA
A kitchen touches more trades than any other room in the house. Plumbing, electrical, gas, cabinetry, counters, flooring, and finishing all have to land in the right order. ELG runs the whole sequence under one contract, so you are not chasing five subtrades and hoping their schedules line up.
You get an itemized fixed-price quote before anything starts, one project manager from the first walk-through to the last, and in-house crews who do this work every week across Toronto and the GTA.
What the job includes
- Layout changes, wall removal, and load-bearing beam work
- Custom and stock cabinetry, islands, and pantries
- Quartz, granite, and butcher-block countertops
- Plumbing and electrical rough-ins by licensed trades
- Backsplash, tile, flooring, and lighting
- Permits and inspections handled for you
Licensed and WSIB-registered, with one accountable point of contact and a schedule you can hold us to. The same crews that earned ELG a 5.0 rating across 40+ Google reviews.

01
Walk-through
We measure the kitchen, look at where the plumbing and electrical actually run, and tell you on site what can move and what cannot. Direct answers, not a referral to a remote design team.
-
02
Quote
Itemized line by line after the walk-through: cabinetry, counters, trades, and finishing priced separately. No catch-all lines that get billed up later. Send us a competing quote and we will show you what it leaves out.
-
03
Permits
If you are moving plumbing, electrical, or a wall, the job needs a permit. We pull it and handle the inspections. A straight cosmetic swap usually does not need one, and we will tell you that rather than bill for it.

Build
Most kitchens run 4 to 6 weeks on site once demolition starts, depending on cabinet lead times and whether walls are moving. The work area is sealed off and the site cleaned at the end of each day.

Kitchen renovation questions.
How long does a kitchen renovation take?
Most kitchens run 4 to 6 weeks on site once demolition starts, depending on cabinet lead times and whether any walls are moving. You get a real schedule with the quote, not a guess.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen renovation?
If you are moving plumbing, electrical, or a wall, yes. We pull the permits and handle inspections so you are not standing in line at the city. A straight cosmetic swap usually does not need one.
Can I stay in my home during the renovation?
Usually yes. The kitchen itself is out of use during the build, so most clients set up a temporary counter and sink elsewhere. We seal off the work area and clean the site at the end of each day.
Who handles the plumbing and electrical?
Licensed trades on our own crew, sequenced in the right order. You are not hiring a separate electrician and a separate plumber and hoping the timing lines up.
What does a kitchen renovation cost?
Every kitchen is quoted line by line after a walk-through, so the number reflects your actual layout, materials, and scope. No catch-all lines that get billed up later. Send a competing quote and we will show you what it leaves out.
