What are the signs you need a new roof?
Curling or cracked shingles, bald patches where the granules have worn off, shingle grit in the gutters, daylight or stains in the attic, and leaks after a storm. If the roof is past 20 years, it is worth a look. We climb up, check it, and tell you straight whether it needs a repair or a full replacement.
How long does a roof last and how long does the job take?
A good asphalt shingle roof lasts 20 to 25 years in this climate. The job itself is usually one to three days for an average house, depending on size, slope, and how many layers come off. You get a real schedule with the quote, not a guess.
Can you fix ice dams and winter leaks?
Yes. Ice dams come from heat escaping into the attic, melting snow that refreezes at the edge and backs water up under the shingles. We fix the leak, add ice-and-water shield at the eaves, and sort out attic ventilation so it stops happening. GTA winters are hard on roofs and we build for them.
Do you do flat roofs?
Yes. We do flat and low-slope roofing as well as standard sloped shingle roofs. Flat roofs need a different membrane system and proper drainage, and we install them to handle standing water and snow load.
What warranty do you offer on roofing?
